Charlie

Charlie is a Labradoodle, originally a cross between a Labrador and a Standard Poodle, they were bred to be used as guide dogs for people allergic to normal animal hair.

Charlie is a third generation Labradoodle. We opted for a Labradoodle as they are hypoallergenic, and do not shed hair. Charlie is five years old, and can be occasionally seen at the hotel, usually behind the reception desk, or running around in the garden chasing the squirrels. He is very friendly and good natured so do say hello to him if you see him during your stay.

If you are particularly keen to meet him, let us know in advance, and we will try to ensure he is “on duty” whilst you are at the hotel.
